Lawn Shampoo (Greens while it cleans!)

First apply Milorganite natural fertilizer to the lawn with your fertilizer spreader. Next, water in with the following:

To a 20 gallon hose end sprayer add:

1 cup Murphy's Oil soap
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup beer
1 cup alcohol
Fill rest of jar with water and shake and apply to hose.

Apply early in the morning, not in the heat of the day.

Alternate every 2 weeks with the following in growing season:

To 20 gallon hose end sprayer add:

Fill half of jar with beer
Fill half of jar ammonia
1 cap Murphy's Oil Soap

These liquid tonics can be applied every 2 weeks for 2 months.

Note: The Milorganite is just applied once at the beginning of this process.

Summer Vegetable Starter

1 part Black Kow cow manure
1 part coffee grounds
1 part Epsom salts

Mix about a foot into your existing garden plot, then water in with Turf Pro (www.TurfProusa.com). Existing garden soil should be well drained.

Fruit Tree Booster

For young trees 6-8 feet tall, build a soil dam and add the following:

2 cups Epsom salts
2 cups coffee grounds
2 cups bone meal
1/2 cup chelated iron

Place within the dam and water in well.

Rose Kick Start

To 1 Gallon of tea add:

1 Tbs Murphy's Oil Soap
1 Tbs Epsom salts
1 Tbs liquid iron
1 Tbs bone meal

This is great for all new roses right at transplanting time but established roses will benefit as well.

Gardenia Tonic

To one gallon of water add:

1 Tbs of Murphy's Oil Soap
1 Tbs of bone meal
1 Tbs of liquid iron
1 Tbs of ammonia
1 Tbs of Epsom salts

Directions: Mix thoroughly. Apply to root area as well as the foliage. Apply in the morning or evening, not in the heat of the day. Plant should be well watered the day before.

Fruit Tree Dessert

To 5 gallons of water add:

2 Tbs of Bone meal
2 Tbs of liquid iron
3 Tbs of Epsom salts
3 Tbs of Murphy's Oil Soap
3 cups of Black Kow, cow manure

Directions: Build a soil dam around the tree. Pour slowly into basin.

Christmas Tree Tonic

Only make up what you can use at one time

To 1 gallon of water add:

1 cup mouthwash
2 cups clear corn syrup
2 cups clear soda, 7-Up or Sprite
3 crushed multivitamins

Please keep out of reach of pets and children! Put a protective covering over stand to prevent children and pets from going there.

Poinsettia Tonic

Only make up what you can use at one time

1 gallon of tea
1 Tbs Epsom salts
2 Tbs Ammonia
1 Tbs Murphy's Oil soap

Squirrel Chaser Tonic

To 1 gallon of water add:

3 Tbs chili powder
3 Tbs garlic powder
6 Tbs tobasco sauce
3 Tbs cayenne pepper
3 Tbs Murphy's Oil Soap
2 Tbs rubbing alcohol
2 Tbs castor oil

Spray on trunks and woody branches of trees only

No More Kitty Tonic

To 1 gallon of water add:

6 Tbs cayenne pepper
6 Tbs chili powder
6 Tbs tobasco sauce
3 Tbs cloves
3 Tbs dry mustard
3 Tbs castor oil

Rose Buster Tonic

To 1 gallon of water add:

2 Tbs bonemeal
2 Tbs liquid iron
2 Tbs Murphy's Oil Soap

Pour on root area and then soak with Turf- Pro. Turf-Pro can be ordered from Turfprousa.com. In Florida it can be picked up at Ace Hardware stores.

Aphid Killer Tonic

2 Tbs Murphy's Oil Soap
2 Tbs vegetable oil
2 Tbs alcohol

1/2 cup Turf Pro

Fall Landscape Cleanup Tonic

To 20 Gal Hose-end sprayer add:

1 cup Murphy's Oil Soap
1/2 cup Epsom salts
1/2 cup liquid iron
1/2 cup 20-20-20 (water soluble)

Fill rest of jar with water and shake. You can add a golfball to help agitate. Do not get on cement or driveway areas as it could stain.

Tomato Tonic

To 5 gallons of water add:

1 Cup Epsom Salts
3 Pouches of Unflavored Gelatin
1 Teaspoon Borax
1/4 Cup Peppermint Soap (found at any health food store)
3 Tablespoons Triple Super Phosphate

Apply every two weeks, giving 1 quart to each plant in the early evening. For an added boost use Mushroom compost in the soil. Fertilize every two weeks with Super Bloom.
